I Need Your Opinions

So, I've been getting some complaints about the current background/text colors, so I have a proposition. Basically I have 7 layout skins I can use (the blue boarders), and they are: magenta, purple, grey, lime green, red, yellow, and the current blue.

I can make the background (what's black right now) any color as well as control the color of most if the text (some of it I can't change)

Now, I'm asking you guys for ideas. What color schemes do you think would look good here? Your suggestion should include:

We'll try each entry for a few days, and then vote on which one we like best after we've seen them all.

C-could I skip the form? -hides beneath tapir- I like things as they are except for the contrast between the black background and the font color. A lighter colored background is all I suggest. C:

I agree with God, though the dark backround saves a lot of watts, so perhaps maybe a different toned backround?

Any particular colors?

You can run through a few right now or when more of us are on just to test it. Nothing like a trial run to see if it'd really work C:

This blue is better, though now I've just realized that there is a 'Current date/time' thing at the top of this box. It's in black font, so either the font or background color is too dark. One of the two will have to change again o3o
Purple has a similar issue.

Is this red background better or should I change the text to a darker color?

The text is all good, but now (and it might just be me) it's harder to tell what boards have new posts and which don't. It might just be my monitor, as it seems Jasdebi's robes are red to most people, but I swear they look more pink.

No, I noticed it, too. It's too hard to tell them apart. I'm going to try a light green/light blue combination now

The green border is a little too bright and hard on the eyes. Is there a paler green or light yellow or light lavender or something?

Unfortunately, I'm limited to the boarders I can use. There's a bright yellow and a bright purple, but I think they would be equally blinding.

I would offer to try and help with all these things, but I've never made a forum on this site before, I'll go make one to see if there's a way to change it.

EDIT: There really is no way on the basic admin panel, I'll have to look a little deeper.
